Acceptable Stay with Issues

slow service inedible eggs
The room was clean upon arrival which I appreciated.
Breakfast service disappointed me. Soft boiled eggs took nearly an hour to arrive, and they were inedible. This happened despite few other guests being present. Staff did not acknowledge our special occasion despite being informed.

Really good Stay

lovely building really good staff helpful staff
The building's location near the quayside was quite lovely. Staff members, especially Simon and Andy, delivered really good service. They did everything possible to ensure my needs were met! Every staff member proved very helpful. I felt thoroughly supported throughout my stay.
The restaurant was quite busy during an evening party. This required me to find an alternate dining option outside the hotel. I would have appreciated some advanced notice about this situation!
Rooms
9/10
The suite featured a very comfortable bed and was tastefully designed. The space in the room was generous. Bath products smelled amazing! The suite had beautiful freestanding baths up in the galley, which I found particularly charming.

Breakfast was good. It featured both cooked and continental options. I found the thoughtfully designed menu offered a good selection of food, and dinner choices were well-prepared. The bartender made a beautiful pina colada. It was very refreshing.

lovely decor great staff perfect room rusty underside dusty lamp tired room
the decor is lovely i appreciate the location and the bar area. the staff are great i found them helpful. the rooms don't have the usual opulence you get in some of the chain but they are perfect .
the room was mostly clean and tidy but i noticed a rusty underside to the bathroom balustrade. the dusty lamp bases and venetian blinds added to the feeling that the room felt a bit tired. the coffee machine had also seen better days.
